My Perspective on the Attainability of the American Dream

I definitely found the American Dream to be achievable, in my case at least, through hard work, determination, and perseverance. I remember being nervous, just because everything was so new to me here, but I was excited – I’ve never stopped believing that America is a land of possibility, especially in regards to vocation. I suppose that whether or not I achieved the American Dream depends primarily on what your definition is of the “American Dream” is, though: I found a community and financial success, and even though I have no white picket fence I am quite satisfied with what I’ve accomplished here.
